Last nightI had the opportunity to judge the 2011 Rescue the Animals Dachshund races. It was my first wiener dog race. The turn out was amazing! I still can't get over how many dachshund's live here in Abilene!
Before the races, the dogs were judged on a variety of categories. The contestants cracked me up. I love how into it the owners get and I can't wait to be a dog owner again, myself (when I have the time). Here's some of the pictures I snapped from the event. Enjoy!
